I splurged and bought a brand new camera, since my little Canon is finally starting to kick the bucket. I chose a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FP3. It has a touch screen, and the ability to focus on moving objects to keep it in focus. It's also cherry red, which I liked.
It just shipped from Amazon yesterday, and I'm very excited to start using it! I've still got shots from my Canon on my computer, so I will probably still continue to post those images. You will just be seeing shots from my brand new camera, as well. I've also still got my awesome Nikon, and you will still see shots from that baby.
I just wanted a new camera that I wouldn't be afraid to take anywhere with me. My Nikon was pricey, and it's bulky. So, I don't feel safe taking it most places. My new Panasonic will solve that small problem.
I'm sure my co-workers will want to use my new camera, as well, but they won't be getting my old one. It's getting too worn out and unreliable to be a good idea to donate it. If it was in better shape, perhaps. As it stands, I wouldn't feel comfortable giving them a dying camera.
I hope I got all of the typos in this post. I sliced my finger pretty badly, so it's hard to type at present. Please be careful with knives, folks, mmmmkay?
That's about all for now. Take care!
